Leonie de Bruijn holds a master’s degree in Nutritional Epidemiology. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the department of Cardiovascular Epidemiology at the University Medical Centre Utrecht. Leonie’s research is connected to both the Dutch Heart Foundation and EXPOSOME-NL project. Her research focuses on development of a neighborhood walkability index suitable for elderly (65+), and its relation to physical activity and cardiovascular disease.
Leonie is a PhD Candidate. Her goal is to show how residential neighborhoods contribute to the exposome and health of elderly. She looks forward to engaging with the EXPOSOME-NL community!
