X.2 Gene-environment integration

Integrating the UK Biobank’s comprehensive multi-omics data with EXPANSE’s high-resolution exposure maps will provide a powerful framework for testing and implementing novel methods to study and establish how gene-environment interaction.

This project aims to harmonize efforts between genomics and exposomics researchers. After development of methods within the UK Biobank, the work will be extended to other datasets enriched with genetics data (e.g. Lifelines), promising to yield actionable biological insights.
