Measures of the internal Exposome include the analysis of metabolome, microbiome, transcriptomics, proteomics and epigenetics. These omics layers form a complex integration of the effects of the external Exposome with individual’s inborn factors, genetic background and allostatic load.
The goal of this research project is to identify the internal Exposome factors causal for Cardiometabolic Health, their interaction with host genetics and the external Exposome, and to build a predictive Exposome model of Cardiometabolic Disease development.
