Highlights from the Exposome-NL conference 2023

The second Exposome-NL conference, titled 'Exposome and Preventive Health: Analysing and Simulating the Exposome in Space and Time', took place on Friday 17 November in Utrecht.

With over 200 participants, outstanding talks by Cathryn Tonne, Alison Heppenstall and Gary Pohill, a poster session and a broad set of break-out sessions, we look back on a vibrant and inspiring day.

The environment we live in has a dominant impact on our health. It explains an estimated seventy percent of the chronic disease burden. Where we live, what we eat, how much we exercise, the air we breathe and whom we associate with; all of these environmental factors play a role.
