From 25 to 29 September, the Annual Meeting of the International Society of Exposure Science will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. 'From Exposure to Human Health: New Developments and Challenges in a Changing Environment' will promote information sharing and facilitate discussion on exposure sciences and related fields in the context of the environment, especially how we can better understand and respond to the complex and multidisciplinary issues in exposure and environmental health through sciences and policies.
The environment we live in has a dominant impact on our health. It explains an estimated seventy percent of the chronic disease burden. Where we live, what we eat, how much we exercise, the air we breathe and whom we associate with; all of these environmental factors play a role.
