On the 2nd of february, the paperback 'Cancer -  on the latest developments in cancer research' will be presented at the Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland (IKNL). The authors, prof. dr. Pim van Gool, prof. dr. Carla van Herpen and prof. dr. Valery Lemmens, will give a short presentation about the book, after which there will be the opportunity to purchase the book. 

The book itself is about the latest developments in cancer research. Which promising treatments for rare and terminal cancers are currently being studied? Researchers and doctors that work with cancerpatients discuss the latest developments in the research field, ranging from early detection and diagnosis to treatment. Moreover, the search for ways to improve life with and after cancer is also talked about in this book.
